Health Tips

Start your day off with twenty minutes of Yoga or Pilates.
Get Some Sun
It's true. Half an hour of good skin exposure to the sun can revive the body. Before you drink coffee in the morning, drink a glass of water.
Keep a steady supply of water at your desk. This will help minimize the negative fidgety-buzz that coffee can give you.
Exercise.
Try to spare 15 to 20 minutes every day to move your body, such as climb stairs, walk your dog, park your car farther from office building, join aerobic dance class etc. Anything that moves your limbs is not only a fitness tool, it's a stress buster.
Avoid Fatty Food.
Avoid the fatty food such as fried foods, burgers and other fatty meats (i.e. pork,
bacon, ham, salami, ribs and sausage). Dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese,
milk and cream should be eaten in low fat versions. Nuts and sandwich meats,
mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces should be eaten in limited amounts. Most
are available in lower fat versions such as substitute butter, fat free cheeses and mayonnaise.
Once a quarter, try something new.
A hobby, an online project, a daily habit, trying something new and succeeding at it is both physically stimulating and mentally liberating.
Stop Smoking.
Tobacco is the second major cause of death in the world. It is well known that half the people who smoke regularly today - about 650 million people - will eventually be killed by tobacco. Equally alarming is the fact that hundreds of thousands of people who have never smoked die each year from diseases caused by breathing second-hand tobacco smoke.

Reduce Stress.
Improve your time management and organization skills, relax and breathe deeply, take
more breaks from your work, lighten up, don't sweat the small stuff, meditate, get more sleep, spend more time with optimistic people, spend 30 minutes a day doing
something you like (i.e., Soak in a hot tub; walk on the beach or in a park; read a good book; visit a friend; play with your dog; listen to soothing music; watch a funny movie. Get a massage, a facial or a haircut).
Pollution Protection.
If you live in a pollution environment, try to avoid smoke-filled rooms, high traffic
areas, breathing in highway fumes and exercising near busy thoroughfares. Do the exercise outside when the smog rating is low or indoors in air conditioning when air quality is good. Plant lots of plants in your yard.
Fasten Your Seat Belt.
Survey shows that seat belts add to longevity and help alleviate potential injuries in car crashes.
Avoid Drinking Alcohol.
Don't drink alcohol after 7pm. Not only can it prevent you from sleeping deeply, but it can also result in more car-based weight gain. Or...you might wake up the next day with a bad headache.
